What Our Learners Say

We’re still growing. More kind words are on their way — and each one matters to us.
Diane, parent of a 10-year-old
My son worked through "what's the matter with you." He really enjoyed the interactive nature of the programme, being able to talk to it and move bits around to get them in the correct order. It was easy to follow and he definitely learnt all about matter and energy.
As he is 10, he did find some parts were aimed at younger kids so got a bit silly about that but overall he stayed engaged. Which is quite hard for him at the moment (recently home educated due to severe anxiety).
I was a little sceptical given the age range but actually he engaged really well. I think he enjoyed being asked the questions.
Michael, science teacher and father
Allowing children to work through scientific concepts at their own pace, and introducing fundamental perspectives of the world around us and our place in it in ways that are accessible to younger children is quite interesting and not something commonly available. It'll help to build the structure of understanding that later education can then build upon.
Even for children who are older, upto middle school, it's good conceptual practice in a way that very few children will have these topics presented to them.
I hope to see more of these stories in future and watch the story of the physical world and our place in it expand.
Vicki, parent of an 8-year-old
The concept and level seems about right.
My daughter likes moving the words into the venn diagrams and the interactive on screen bits, and the story at the end.
I like that it does teach, and uses proper words and ideas, and breaks the topic down well into sections.
I like the consolidating of the concept in the stories.
